My Irish Christmas Giveaway

It's finally here...My Irish Christmas Giveaway..In Gaelic, we say, "Nollaig Shonna Duit", which means Happy Christmas to you! I am so lucky to have met so many wonderful people through my blog and to have made some very special friendships.

Paper Piecing Class

This is my first serious attempt at paper piecing.  I usually have hated doing it.  Our guild held a class on the Carol Doak method and I really loved it.  This is called Snowflake and If you go into the Carol Doak website and Click on free patterns, you can download it.  It is made up of  four 9 patch blocks sewn together to form 1 large one.

Received my giveaway from Geta today.  The photo doesn't do it justice.  It is so much more beautiful in person.The fabric has more shades than are visible.  It is so pretty.  I feel so lucky to have one of her lovely pieces.
